About us

We build tools for finding people, not watching them.

PeopleQuickSearch helps you reconnect with the people in your life — family, old friends, classmates, and service buddies — using public records and published directories.

Our mission

Most people come to PeopleQuickSearch carrying a name and a question. The birth mother who moved three states away. The Army buddy you lost touch with after your last deployment. The college roommate whose last name you can almost remember. Public records hold the thread that connects you back to them — we just help you follow it.

We started PeopleQuickSearch because the tools for this already existed, but they were built to make you anxious. Countdown timers. “3 people are looking at this record.” Subscriptions that quietly renew until you notice the charge. We think reconnection deserves better than a slot machine. So we built the opposite: a plain, honest search that tells you what it found, what it costs, and when it isn’t sure.

Reconnection, not surveillance

There is a real difference between finding someone and monitoring them, and we take it seriously. PeopleQuickSearch is for closing a gap between two people who have lost contact — family, old friends, classmates, service connections. It is not a background-check service, and it is not built to help anyone track, screen, or pressure another person.

That line shapes what we build. We show published, public-record information, and we make the person you’re searching for an equal party in the system: anyone can remove themselves in minutes, no account required. If reconnection only works when the other side can’t opt out, it isn’t reconnection — it’s something we don’t want to be part of.

How we think about privacy and ethics

Everything PeopleQuickSearch surfaces comes from public records and published directories — information that is already lawfully available. We don’t hack, we don’t buy breached data, and we don’t pretend a phone number is a promise. When a record is uncertain, we say so, because a confident wrong answer is worse than an honest “we think, but check.”

We are not a consumer reporting agency, and PeopleQuickSearch may not be used for employment, tenant, credit, or insurance decisions. That’s not fine print to us — it’s the boundary of what the product is for. You can read the full picture, including our acceptable use rules and the one-click removal form, on our Trust & Safety page.

We’d rather grow slowly and be the search people trust than grow fast and be the one they resent. If we ever get that balance wrong, tell us: [email protected].
