Proofpoint's Data Processing Agreement was updated to change which services are listed as covered data processing services. Data Security and AI Security were added while Email Fraud and Prime Threat Protection were removed, which may affect what processing activities and subprocessors need to be documented for your records.

Proofpoint added data centers in Toronto (Canada) as a subprocessor location, which requires additional legal mechanisms since Canada does not have an EU adequacy decision. The subprocessor list now explicitly identifies the Toronto facility alongside existing European data center locations.
