Is Pinecone's DPA the same thing as a data processing addendum?

Yes. A data processing agreement and a data processing addendum are two names for the document Article 28 of the GDPR requires between a controller and a processor; vendors use both, and some call it processor terms. Where is Pinecone's sub-processor list?

At https://security.pinecone.io/item/subprocessors. Pinecone names the list in its trust centre and hands it over on request rather than publishing it, so the names are not visible until you ask. We last opened that address on 28 October 2026.

What covers a transfer of personal data to Pinecone outside the EEA?
